The “Zero Gravity” sitting position, known as the zero gravity position, was developed by the NASA research department for astronauts who are in a state of weightlessness for long periods of time. The spine is in a neutral position, which reduces pressure on joints, muscles and the lower back area. Because the zero gravity loungers distribute the body weight in an ideal way, pressure points and muscle tension are reduced.
